REQUIREMENT:
- RSA ID and legal residence essential
- Valid passport essential
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Zanzibar
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a Hotel Operations Manager or senior hospitality management role
- Strong operational knowledge across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Reservations, and Guest Relations
- Proven leadership and staff management experience
- Excellent guest relations and communication skills
- Strong financial understanding including budgeting, stock control, and cost management
- Ability to work independently and lead by example
- Experience in boutique hotels, resorts, or luxury hospitality environments advantageous
- Hospitality qualification advantageous
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily operation of the hotel
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service delivery standards
- Manage Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations departments
- Lead, mentor, and develop hotel staff
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements
- Manage budgets, stock control, and cost efficiencies
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Coordinate with owners and senior management on operational objectives
- Drive occupancy, guest satisfaction, and overall hotel performance
