Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Expertise:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Surface Drill Rigs product line, including specifications, applications, and competitive positioning.
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and competitor offerings to ensure the product remains competitive and relevant.
- Serve as the go-to expert for technical inquiries from both internal teams and customers.
- Strong ability to setup and troubleshoot autonomous systems
2. Team Leadership: - Purpose driven in Root Cause Analysis
- Lead and mentor a team of service Technicians, product developers, or marketing staff associated with the drill rigs category.
- Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Be able to communicate at any level
3. Product Strategy and Development: - Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to identify and develop new products or improvements actioning TSNB`s letters based on market needs.
- Participate in product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of products.
PSD Product Specialist 4. Customer Engagement: - Partner with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Deliver product training sessions and demonstrations to customers and distributors.
- Address customer concerns and feedback to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
5. Marketing and Sales Support: - Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product content, such as brochures, videos, and online resources.
- Assist in developing and executing promotional campaigns to boost product visibility and sales.
- Analyse sales data and provide insights to optimize pricing, LCC updating, distribution, and promotional strategies.
6. Reporting and Analysis: - Monitor and report on the performance of the company Surface and Contractor Drill Rigs product line, including sales, profitability, and market share.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Purpose driven in Root cause analysis
Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, sales, Trade qualification or a related field, preferably in mining equipment or drill rigs.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards success.
- Strong technical knowledge of Pit Viper 271,275&351 DM30, DM45 &DML.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in autonomous systems, data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills: - Experience product lifecycle management (PLM/LCC) systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain dynamics.
- Knowledge of Autonomous systems
- Certification in product management or project management will be advantages.
- Computer literate MS/MS Projects, Exel, Word, Power Point ect.
- Completed SL1/Sl2, RCS advanced & Automation
