Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls and direct queries appropriately.
  • Monitor and respond to general email correspondence.
  • Maintain a professional reception area and positive client experience.
  • Perform general office administration and clerical duties.
  • Manage filing systems, document scanning, and record keeping.
  • Assist with client onboarding documentation, including FICA requirements and data capturing.
  • Maintain accurate client records and administrative databases.
  • Provide administrative support to management and directors.
  • Follow up on outstanding debtor accounts and maintain detailed notes on the system.
  • Assist with tax administration and related client documentation.
  • Coordinate and maintain SAICA and SAIPA administration requirements for staff.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional telephone etiquette and client service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
