Regional Manager – Cleaning, Hygiene & Pest Control – Cape Town Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee cleaning, hygiene and pest control operations across a portfolio of lifestyle and retirement villages, private schools, and dormitory environments in the Western Cape. Salary: R55 000 CTC (includes travel and cell phone allowance) Description: This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for managing multiple contracts, leading Area and Unit Managers, ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining profitability, and driving service excellence across the region. Key Responsibilities: • Manage Area and Unit Managers across multiple sites • Ensure contractual obligations and SLAs are achieved • Drive profitability and operational performance across the region • Manage labour planning, wages, budgets and expenditure • Conduct client meetings and relationship management • Oversee health, safety and risk compliance • Manage assets, audits and operational reporting • Lead, mentor and develop operational management teams • Engage with union representatives and manage employee relations Requirements: Key Requirements: • Matric / Grade 12 • Minimum 5 years’ management experience • Minimum 5 years’ experience within a service industry • Strong budgeting and P&L management experience • Exposure to industrial relations and union engagement • Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements • Cleaning and hygiene industry experience advantageous • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle essential This role would particularly suit candidates with experience managing cleaning operations within hospitality, healthcare, retirement villages, education, or multi-site facilities management environments.
