Permanent position What They Are Looking For: ✔ Minimum 3 years Reservationist experience within a Hotel or Lodge environment ✔ Strong knowledge of online booking channels and channel management ✔ Experience with rate loading, rate parity and specials ✔ Confident handling extranet communication and financial queries ✔ Experience working with SiteMinder and Apply Below ✔ Understanding of OXI interface and booking integrations ✔ Comfortable liaising with multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Accounts and Sales ✔ Strong admin skills including debtor assistance, issuing tax invoices and month end support Key Responsibilities: ✨ Managing online bookings across platforms including Apply Below, Expedia, Agoda, Travel Ground, AfriStay, Wetu and more ✨ Biannual content reviews of all online channels ✨ Monitoring occupancy and adjusting specials accordingly ✨ Processing payments and handling 7 day pre arrival procedures ✨ Maintaining excellent relationships with online agents and tour operators ✨ Assisting with reporting, weekly planners and reservation administration ✨ Supporting the Reservations Manager and Assistant Reservations Manager This role suits someone organised, proactive and confident working behind the scenes to ensure seamless guest journeys from first click to arrival.
