About the Role
The Restaurant Hostess will be responsible for welcoming guests to the restaurant, managing reservations, and coordinating seating with the service team to ensure a smooth dining experience.
This role requires someone who is organised, attentive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining a friendly and professional approach with guests.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Experience in a hostess, front-of-house, or guest-facing role preferred
- Professional appearance and confident communication skills
- Friendly and welcoming personality
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Manage restaurant reservations and waiting lists
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Coordinate seating arrangements with the restaurant management and service team
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant entrance area
- Assist with guest queries and ensure a smooth dining experience
