Employment Information

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer.
The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for overseeing the organization’s purchasing activities , ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This role leads sourcing strategies , manages supplier relationships , and supports continuous improvement across procurement processes .
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers to expand sourcing options.
  • Conduct periodic supplier audits and performance reviews.

Contract & Compliance Management

  • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and reporting.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks to inform procurement decisions.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor budgetary impacts and provide regular financial reporting to management.

Process Improvement & Leadership

  • Improve procurement processes, tools, and systems for greater efficiency and transparency.
  • Mentor junior procurement staff and support capability-building across the team.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement with organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field ( Master’s preferred ).
  • Professional procurement certifications (eg, CIPS , CPSM ) are a strong advantage .
  • 5–8+ years of progressive procurement experience , including strategic sourcing and contract management.
  • Strong negotiation , analytical , and vendor-management skills .
  • Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems .
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving , and stakeholder-management abilities .
