We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer.
The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for overseeing the organization’s purchasing activities , ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This role leads sourcing strategies , manages supplier relationships , and supports continuous improvement across procurement processes .
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.

Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Supplier Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.

Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers to expand sourcing options.

Conduct periodic supplier audits and performance reviews.
Contract & Compliance Management

Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and service agreements.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.

Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and reporting.
Financial & Risk Management

Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks to inform procurement decisions.

Develop cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.

Monitor budgetary impacts and provide regular financial reporting to management.
Process Improvement & Leadership

Improve procurement processes, tools, and systems for greater efficiency and transparency.

Mentor junior procurement staff and support capability-building across the team.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement with organizational needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field ( Master’s preferred ).

Professional procurement certifications (eg, CIPS , CPSM ) are a strong advantage .

5–8+ years of progressive procurement experience , including strategic sourcing and contract management.

Strong negotiation , analytical , and vendor-management skills .

Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems .
