This is a field-based role suited to a candidate with a strong conservation science background and a genuine interest in applied wildlife research and education — particularly vulture conservation. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between project coordination, data management, fieldwork, and community education delivery in a dynamic, multi-focus programme environment.
Core Criteria:
- Master's degree in Conservation or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
- Valid driver's licence with 4x4 driving capability
- Demonstrated experience in report writing and data management
- Proficiency in EarthRanger and QGIS
- Experience in wildlife education, with a focus on conservation outreach
- Basic financial management skills
- Experience in fundraising and project management (advantageous)
Candidate Responsibilities:- Support the coordination and delivery of projects across the conservation programme
- Coordinate programme data collection, management, and reporting of outputs
- Develop and deliver wildlife education content, with a dedicated focus on vulture conservation
- Provide operational and logistical support to Vulture Project activities
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to programme reporting requirements
- Assist with data management across relevant platforms including EarthRanger and QGIS
