Introduction
Komatsu is seeking a highly skilled Operator Trainer with strong mining product experience, particularly in electrical dump trucks. Experience on electric rope shovels (ERS) will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate must have real production mining experience and the ability to transfer technical skills to operators in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver operator training programs aligned to Komatsu standards
- Transfer practical, production-based knowledge to operators
- Stay up to date with product updates, technical bulletins, and maintenance standards
- Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and assessment tools
- Plan and coordinate training schedules and logistics
- Support rollout of operator training across mining sites
- Monitor training effectiveness and customer feedback
- Take corrective action where performance gaps are identified
- Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) requirements
- Report on training outcomes and operator performance
