Storeman

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock and materials.
• Issue materials, tools, equipment, and parts to staff as required.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control.
• Conduct regular stock counts and stock reconciliations.
• Keep the storeroom clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
• Assist with ordering and stock replenishment when required.
• Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded.
• Work closely with the workshop, projects, and procurement teams.
• Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum of 2–5 years' experience as a Storeman or in a similar role.
• Experience in the construction, mechanical, or engineering industry will be advantageous.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Excel and inventory management systems).
• Valid South African driver's licence will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, honest, and dependable.

Preferred Criteria

• Applicants who reside in or near Villieria, Pretoria, will be given preference.
• Knowledge of construction materials, mechanical parts, tools, and hardware is highly desirable.
