Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Isolo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining proper storage standards, and ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The successful candidate must possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee the receiving, inspection, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
  • Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure products are stored safely and organized according to company standards.
  • Supervise warehouse personnel, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
  • Train new warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of customer orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse environment.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Minimize stock losses, damages, and operational errors through effective supervision.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Candidate must reside in or around Isolo or be willing to commute daily.
