Based across Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal regions, this position sits within the premium Hospitality and Outdoor sector and is ideal for a technically skilled professional with strong operational and leadership experience. The successful Manager will be responsible for overseeing all workshop operations, ensuring the effective maintenance of the lodge fleet, generators, and infrastructure. This includes maximising vehicle uptime, maintaining service standards, and supporting overall Lodge functionality to enhance the guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, administrative control, and staff management. You will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency, sustainability compliance, and high-performance standards across all maintenance functions in a remote Outdoor environment. Job Requirements Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Manager in a workshop or similar environment Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle, plant, and equipment maintenance Proven experience managing fleet operations within a Lodge or remote setting Knowledge of generator systems and infrastructure maintenance Strong administrative and financial control skills (budgets, stock, reporting) Experience in staff management, training, and performance development Strong understanding of Hospitality operational standards Ability to manage preventative maintenance schedules and minimise downtime Valid driver’s licence with PDP essential High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and leadership skills Ability to work under pressure in a hands-on Outdoor environment Package Market-related salary (dependent on experience) Permanent live-in position Accommodation provided Opportunity to work in a leading safari Lodge environment Career growth within the Hospitality and Outdoor sector Start Date: To be confirmed
