Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and all applicable legislation
- Manage and coordinate all engineering maintenance and capital projects on site
- Ensure availability, reliability, and optimal performance of all equipment and infrastructure
- Oversee engineering budgets, cost control, and resource planning
- Lead and manage engineering teams and contractors to achieve operational targets
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Implement and maintain effective risk management and safety standards
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support operational objectives
- Establish and maintain electrical and water reticulation systems on site
