Credit & Lending Officer

Job Summary

• As the Credit & Lending Officer, you will be responsible for assessing loan applications, managing credit portfolios, and ensuring timely loan recovery while supporting the organization's financial growth and risk management objectives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and conduct credit assessments to determine eligibility and risk levels
• Monitor loan portfolios and ensure timely repayment of credit facilities
• Maintain accurate records of loan transactions, customer information, and repayment schedules
• Follow up with clients on outstanding obligations and implement recovery strategies where necessary
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in credit analysis, lending, or loan administration
• Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, loan processing, and recovery procedures
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management systems
