Key Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the long-term Property Management strategy aligned to business objectives
- Provide executive leadership across a diversified Commercial, Retail and Industrial property portfolio
- Drive organisational growth, operational excellence and portfolio optimisation
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of approximately 30–35 professionals
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement
Property Portfolio Leadership
- Oversee the operational performance of a large national property portfolio
- Drive occupancy, tenant retention and asset optimisation strategies
- Lead Facilities Management, Leasing, Maintenance and Property Operations
- Oversee capital projects, refurbishments and portfolio enhancement initiatives
- Ensure the portfolio consistently delivers exceptional customer experience and operational performance
Financial Leadership
- Manage substantial operational and capital expenditure budgets
- Drive profitability, revenue growth and portfolio returns
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Monitor ROI, investment performance, feasibility studies and asset valuations
- Deliver strong financial governance and commercial decision-making
Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across the property management division
- Improve operational efficiency through technology, automation and data analytics
- Optimise reporting systems, business intelligence and operational performance metrics
- Drive continuous process improvement and innovation
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory and governance requirements
- Lead enterprise risk management and compliance across the portfolio
- Maintain best practice in Occupational Health & Safety, procurement and operational governance
- Ensure robust internal controls and corporate governance standards
Executive Stakeholder Management
- Report directly to the Managing Director and Board of Directors
- Present executive reports, strategic recommendations and portfolio performance
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, executive stakeholders, tenants and service providers
- Represent the organisation at executive forums and industry events
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Property Studies, Real Estate, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline
- Postgraduate qualification in Property Management, Business or Finance advantageous
- Executive Leadership qualification or MBA advantageous
- Minimum 10 years' senior leadership experience within Property Management
- Proven experience managing large Commercial, Retail and Industrial property portfolios
- Executive leadership experience within a property investment, property management or real estate organisation
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams of senior professionals
- Strong financial management and commercial acumen
- Experience managing large operational and capital expenditure budgets
- Digital transformation and change management experience
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and Board-level reporting experience
