Key Responsibilities
Resident Services & Customer Experience
- Welcome students, residents, visitors, contractors, and service providers in a professional and friendly manner
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with day-to-day resident enquiries
- Manage resident check-ins, check-outs, and visitor access
- Resolve resident requests promptly and professionally
- Create a welcoming, positive, and professional living environment for all residents
Access Control & Security
- Monitor and control access to the residence
- Operate CCTV surveillance systems
- Monitor biometric access control systems
- Respond appropriately to emergency alarms and incidents
- Maintain a safe, secure, and orderly residence
- Record and report security incidents and operational concerns
Residence Operations
- Work closely with the Residence Management team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with resident communication and administrative duties
- Ensure reception and communal areas remain professional and presentable
- Support operational procedures and emergency response protocols
Teamwork & Communication
- Collaborate with colleagues across operations and security functions
- Communicate effectively with students, visitors, contractors, and management
- Maintain high customer service standards while supporting the overall residence operation
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience as a Residence Concierge, Concierge, Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, Customer Service Representative, Guest Services Officer, Security Officer, or similar customer-facing role
- Student accommodation experience is advantageous
- Experience within hospitality, hotels, residential estates, corporate reception, or customer service environments will also be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Comfortable working with CCTV, biometric access control systems, and emergency alarm systems (training will be provided)
- Computer literacy
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
