Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the materials handling, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, construction, and industrial sectors.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while expanding the client portfolio.
- Promote and sell new and used forklifts, attachments, and related equipment.
- Understand customer operational requirements and recommend suitable equipment solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits and provide exceptional after-sales service.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline reports, and CRM updates.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
Minimum Requirements- Matric (Grade 12).
- Proven experience in forklift, materials handling equipment, or capital equipment sales.
- Strong knowledge of forklifts and the materials handling industry.
- Existing customer base within relevant industries will be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sales drive and customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Experience- Experience selling leading forklift brands and materials handling equipment.
- Understanding of forklift specifications, applications, and operational requirements.
- Experience working with rental, sales, and fleet management solutions.
