National Museums Board (NMB) is a Statutory Board under the Ministry of Tourism whose mandate is to establish, develop and manage dynamic and sustainable national museums for the preservation and interpretation of Movable heritage for the benefit of the present and future generation.

Location – Livingstone Museum, Moto Moto Museum and Choma Museum and Crafts Center
Job Purpose
To provide cleaning services, guiding, receiving and monitor the adherence to safety and security regulations in the galleries in order to promote highest standard of cleanliness and gallery security of the institution.
Duties
▫ Initiates and undertakes timely cleaning services to ensure conducive environment.
▫ Undertakes daily inspections of galleries to ensure conducive environment and security of collection on display.
▫ Ensures that visitors observe and adhere to safety and security regulations in the galleries to prevent loss or damage to collections and property.
▫ Guides effectively visitors in galleries and to relevant offices
▫ Undertakes the receiving of entrance fees and crafts sales.
Qualifications/Requirements
▫ Grade 12 Full School Certificate or its equivalent
▫ Diploma/Certificate in Travel and Tourism

▫ Public Relations skills
▫ Good communication skills
▫ Interpersonal relationship
▫ Customer Care skills
