The successful candidate will assist management in implementing and controlling the Safety Management Programme within the company and facilitate compliance with applicable legislation regarding the health and safety of employees and subcontractors. Applicants should have appropriate experience across a range of projects with a medium to large construction company.
Candidates should be highly motivated and able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The best candidates will be detail-oriented and organized team players with demonstrated delivery in high-pressure situations. Minimum Requirements:- A National Diploma or degree in Health and Safety Management
- Must be professionally registered as a Safety Manager with SACPCMP
- At least 8 years' experience as a Safety Officer in Construction industry
- Driver's license and own reliable vehicle will be required
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- May be required to work outside of Cape Town
