About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive organizational growth through the identification and development of new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the organization's market presence, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the achievement of long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Lead the preparation of business proposals, bids, presentations, and partnership agreements.

Manage the sales and business development pipeline from lead generation to contract closure.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative products, services, and solutions that meet market needs.

Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements to maximize organizational value.

Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, industry forums, and stakeholder meetings.

Monitor and report on business development performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Commerce, International Business, or a related field.

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in business development, sales, partnerships, marketing, or commercial management.

Proven track record of securing new business opportunities and achieving revenue growth targets.

Strong experience in proposal development, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships.

Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

A postgraduate qualification or professional certification in Business, Marketing, or Sales will be an added advantage.
