About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the organization's financial operations and ensure sound financial management practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, risk management, and providing strategic financial guidance to support organizational growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance and provide timely management reports.
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial systems.
- Supervise and mentor finance staff to promote high performance and professional development.
- Support fundraising, grant management, and donor reporting where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, taxation, and financial analysis.
- Experience using accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
