Main Duties:

  • Detect and report malfunctions and defects in electrical systems
  • Perform regular inspection and repair of all electrical equipment of the power plant
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities under his/her responsibility
  • Efficiently manage time and complete all assigned tasks
  • Train new recruits
Profile:
  • Sound knowledge in electrical engineering & instrumentation
  • Sound knowledge of power plant processes
  • Diligent in maintaining the cleanliness of the power plant
  • Understanding of safe working practice related to maintenance operations
  • organisational skills
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work during odd hours and public holidays
Qualifications:
  • Holder of School Certificate (SC) / Higher School Certificate (HSC) or any alternative qualification
  • Holder of a Brevet d'Etudes Professionnelles (BEP) / Brevet de Technicien (BT) in electricity / Diploma / Diplome Universitaire de Sciences et Techniques (DUST) / or alternative equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience in a related field
