Employment Information

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned to hotel standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas.
  • Create daily work schedules and assign room cleaning tasks.
  • Trauine, guide, and evaluate housekeeping staff, promoting high perfromance and motivation.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure timely requisition of cleaning supplies, linen, and amenities.
  • Collaborate with front office, maintenance, and laundry teams for seamless operations.
  • Respond to guest requests and address complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
  • Keep records of daily activity, staff performance, and room status.
  • Parrticipate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff appraisals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum SC; Vocational or technical certification in housekeeping/hospitality is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role in housekeeping, preferablyy in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high cleanliness and service standards.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with housekeeping.
  • Good communication skills in English and/or French; addtional languages are a plus.
  • Flexiblility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
