Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Technical Support: Providing first-line support for hardware, software, and networking issues via phone, email, or in-person.
- System Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, computers, printers, and network equipment.
- Network Security: Monitoring network performance, ensuring data security, and performing regular backups.
- Asset Management: Maintaining inventory records of hardware and software licenses.
- User Support & Training: Training employees on new technology and creating user guides.
- Vendor Liaison: Acting as a point of contact for external IT suppliers and service providers.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or administration.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows/Linux/macOS, network protocols, and security principles.
