Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Hospitality qualification or diploma advantageous
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Night Manager, Duty Manager or Front Office Supervisor within a 4 or 5-star hotel
- Boutique hotel experience highly advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of Opera PMS or a is essential
- Excellent understanding of front office procedures, night audit, cash handling and hotel operations
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills
- Well-presented, professional and service-driven
- Must be able to work permanent night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Valid South African ID or valid work permit
Key Responsibilities- Manage all overnight hotel operations and ensure seamless service delivery
- Complete the night audit accurately and reconcile daily revenue
- Oversee front office operations including arrivals, departures and guest requests
- Handle guest complaints and emergency situations professionally and efficiently
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff and hotel property throughout the night
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure operational standards are maintained
- Prepare management reports and handover documentation for the morning team
- Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure financial controls are followed
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and security teams to resolve overnight operational issues
- Maintain the highest standards of guest service expected within a luxury boutique hotel
