Employment Information

Duties include managing & overseeing:

Sales – Develop and implement effective sales plans to stay ahead of competitors to ensure increased market share and pre-owned sales and profitability (1st & 2nd Gross) as per shareholders and manufacturer requirements.
Marketing – Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for increased customer interaction.
Leadership – Create a team culture where customer experience and excellence is a focus.  Motivate, lead, coach the sales team to exceed goals and targets.
Customer Care – Build and maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout the sales journey, resulting in high customer retention and satisfaction levels.
Pre-Owned Stock Management – Manage stock procurement, pricing, vehicle appraisals, stock ageing, and inventory turn to optimise profitability and support overall dealership objectives..
Performance Management - Coach team where necessary by providing constructive feedback and mutual productivity plans for effective performance.  Continue to drive improvement in all aspects of the sales environment.
Financial Management – Manage total financial and budgeting aspects of the department (Forecasting, OEM, Floorplan, Expenses, Stock holding)
OEM Compliance – Ensure all sales processes, reporting requirements, customer satisfaction measures, and operational standards are aligned with manufacturer and dealership policies.

Requirements:

  • Must have min Automotive Sales Management experience of 6 years+ at a franchise dealership
  • Experience within a high-volume brand
  • Pre-owned sales experience and residual value knowledge
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Ambitious, Self and Target Driven
  • Leads Management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Result Driven
  • Marketing knowledge
  • Strong understanding of OEM sales standards, dealership operations, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a successful sales team and consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, planning, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a focus on profitability, customer retention, and operational excellence.
  • Must have MS Office, IPartner, Evolve, Sales Workplace and Autobid Experience
  • Valid Drivers License
